About Us

GBC Inc. is partnership of human resources management consultants. Graham and Carole Brown are the founding principals.

Graham Brown is the managing partner of GBC-Graham Brown Consulting Inc., a human resources management consulting firm he started in 2004. He has been in the human resources industry for 25 years and provides consulting expertise in all areas of human resources including organizational effectiveness, performance management, compensation, recruitment, training and development.

Graham has extensive experience in designing and implementing major organizational changes for companies in a variety of industries including financial services, manufacturing, mining, professional services and high technology.

Earlier in his career, Graham held internal human resources management positions prior to moving into consulting where he worked as a senior HR consultant at Credit Union Central of Ontario/CCG supporting credit unions across Ontario. Other consulting experience includes the position of managing consultant for Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt), and leading the human resources strategy group for Andersen's Human Capital practice. He also led Deloitte & Touche's Global Human Capital strategy group in Canada.

In addition, Graham was an instructor for the Strategic Human Resources Planning course at Seneca College. He has also appeared on the Business News Network as an HR expert and was a member of the Compensation Surveys Committee at the Toronto Region Board of Trade. Graham holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Carleton University and a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen's University.


Carole Brown is a partner with the firm GBC - Graham Brown Consulting Inc. Carole's areas of expertise include performance management, compensation, benefits and training. Using her breadth of experience in various industries, she provides support to GBC's entire client base in many areas including various projects, day-to-day HR support and developing training content and materials.

Prior to joining GBC in 2006, she worked as a manager in the human resources department for the Canadian head office of Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt, the number one human capital and outsourcing firm in the world) supporting over 1100 employees across Canada. Earlier in her career, Carole supported Hewitt’s external clients in the area of outsourced HR services for large global companies in the pharmaceutical, automotive and petrochemical industries. Carole holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University and a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from Seneca College.
